Try Hard Coffee Roasters is a vinyl-inspired space in Austin, TX. Inspiration for the brand came from my father’s vintage gas station sticker collection. The cafe is only a few years old, but the space feels warm and inviting as if it has been there all along.
As the coffee director of Epoch Coffee, I developed a coffee program and trained more than 50 baristas. I created training materials, branding, and merchandising across 4 locations. Epoch Coffee is an other-worldly cafe that questions one’s sense of time and space and welcomes all walks of life through its doors — which prompted the spiritual and time elements in the brand.
Try Hard Ltd Vinyl is an offshoot of Try Hard Coffee that partners Austin-based artists with EQ Austin, Gold Rush Vinyl, and Spaceflight Records to create one-of-a-kind first pressings that are paired with a coffee offering. I was responsible for creating all e-commerce and marketing materials for this project as well as finalizing all album artwork and center vinyl labels.
A collaboration with award-winning artist David Ramirez. Together, we selected a coffee and I designed the bag and slipmat that paired with an exclusive 12” vinyl he released. The brief was “Vintage, moody, and Texas”

SheBrews is a non-profit social and educational platform for womxn in the craft beverage industry focused on gathering people in the beer, cocktail, wine, and coffee industries for social networking. As the co-founder of SheBrews, I created our branding and marketing materials.
