As a co-founder of Try Hard Coffee Roasters, Raechel combined her passion for culinary arts and graphic design to create delicious coffee and train a knowledgeable staff. She have an AAS in Restaurant Management from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, and a BA in Graphic Design from James Madison University. She has over 10 years of experience in the creative industry, where she honed her skills in hospitality, social networking, and design. She is also a certified barista and a co-founder of SheBrews, a non-profit organization that makes space for women in the craft beverage industry. She is driven by the mission of empowering, educating, and connecting people through social media, events, and gatherings. She is eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in all things creative.


Raechel’s freelance clients include: Oatly, The United States Barista Competition, Synesso Espresso Machines, Minor Figures and Austin Coffee Society. She also works with musicians in Austin to create album artwork and special-release coffee through Try Hard Ltd Vinyl. Her clients include: The Sword, David Ramirez, Brownout, Die Spitz, Jackie Venson, and many more.
